Edge computing may sound like something out of a science fiction novel, but it’s happening today. Edge computing is computing that happens at the physical location of the user or the data source. This localization ultimately provides faster and more reliable experience for customers and flexibility of hybrid cloud computing for companies. Using a foundation of live-action video to tell the story, we integrated animated 3d elements to augment and provide clarifying details. The end result is a fun case study for Red Hat OpenShift’s Edge Computing solutions.
